Posted by Zam on Mar 19, '08 1:10 AM for everyone Today I was looking at Waberi's pic on Myspace titled Dark Bluez. And I thought, bluez is a coolness also a Melly thang. So I started writing from a minor chord and built from that with a Juno bassline and a guitar patch from the XP-50. I love the rhodes on the JP-8000 with the ribbon control for vibrato. I put a call to VANARC he came over and I gave him the concept and in a hour we had the vocals. I did the vocal adlibs mostly afterwards. He took a call and took off. I Cee Bluez. Thanks Waberi. Posted by Zam on Jan 25, '08 12:10 PM for everyone | subtleties | | words and phrases/mantras reach down like living ends/a quenching fire or something equally as impossible/eyes closed/the winds of change blow gritty and make sludge of wet dreams. the quiet, chaotic blending of all things/the misty, movable notion of forever, all tied up neatly within, turns and glows white hot and lead-like heavy in the heart/subtleties in composition/things always not as they look (C)Waberi |

Posted by Zam on Jan 15, '08 11:54 AM for everyone Verse 42 from the Church of the New Neon Light (That Blacklight) People keep waitin on a change, but no sense to come in outta the rain.......
Posted by Zam on Jan 8, '08 8:40 PM for everyone The New Neon Church of the Blacklight Matter is vibration slowed to a screeching halt. Vibration is the universe and everything it in compasses. Music is the most receptive form of vibration. Music gives reason for existence (to be moved by the universe), it's a message we all understand regardless of language, social divide, classism or spiritual belief. Our lives are manifested by the universe in an effort to experience it's self from another perspective! Everything is every thing, everything is music!
Posted by Zam on Jan 8, '08 8:31 PM for everyone The New Neon Church of the Blacklight Fire and ice melting and burning in wet hot harmony with falsetto screams, exploding whispers drowning in the deep blue sea
Heaven and Earth connected at the hip... like if one could take a picture of the wind, twins of an acid hurricane spinning so ill it can pretend its merely standing still
Now will it be the red or the blue pill? Eternal bliss in perceptions petrified ignorance or the path to Enlightenment cause either way Shes got you plugged in a slave to the machines of perfection you cant help but look freedom is not an option Your only choice is whether to breath or not

Mandika (C) Mandika Boom Shaka laka Live for the mist on my expressions On my tongue On transgressions Cleansing, washing Riveting currents, emoting Childlike and exuberant Small pieces of rainbow On the puddle in the street On the steps keep making a ball and it doesn't escape So why not hang on Hang on Rain on… granting, manifesting Fresh and pristine Raw stylus Gracious but fleeting Lady Marmalade You could Gitchee Gitchee ya ya da da Gitchee Gitchee ya ya here Boom Shaka laka Bright eyes in early morning Breakfast with Etta James Brittle white across myriad voyage Rain colorless so fresh and so clean Gleaming Teeming Lesser degrees on coarse curls Adorning beads on little girls... As I But I’m grown now Literary entity from an almighty pen Cleft in the key of life Of humanities chin Sassafras splashes and dashes of nutmeg on sweet potatoes Weakening down to a grin Rim shots and flashbacks Standing on Nubian soil Unspoiled with rich DNA saturated Pour some sugar on it Elbows in nature, naturally Concentrated, inclining to rain Drizzled and feeling no pain My exodus through primitive showers Black power Clenched in a ball and it doesn’t escape Time I was dared not need to clean my plate Midnight special shining the spot on R E Ms The house deep in slumber Calling my people to see Prince on In his thong Because of disparity and rarity I didn’t know really… didn’t complain Short in the teeth but the rain was lean with diamonds on the back Then boom shaka laka... Then it felt free

Posted by Zam on Jan 4, '08 7:04 PM for everyone Woman expresses and experiences the Knowledge given to her by her God. This is why the Moon reflects the light of the sun, 93 million miles. Rotating and revolving. The moon also signifies the separation of the weak from the strong; which resulted in the creation of woman (wisdom of man). The Earth is the reproducer of life, being able to accept a seed and feed it with the nourishment until the time of it arrival or birth.
